Ring setting vs stone size

I am interested in a ring for my 9mm diamond. However the ring that i am interested is used for a 9x10mm stone. My jeweler said she can make it works. The ring has a regular 4claws. Do you think this is even possible?

I think it is possible your jeweler thinks she can make it work -- whether the finished piece is secure, symmetrical and finely finished is impossible to say.

Does the jeweler offer a return/refund on the setting should it not meet your satisfaction?

Has the jeweler done similar work for you before?
