Ring came today

Gonna pop the question this weekend. She really had her heart set on 1ct+ (not that she really cares since she rarely wears jewelery.. but her nosy friends insist that she ask for 1ct b/c it shows them how much I love her. rrRRIIGGGHHHTtttt.)

Anyway. Heres a pic of it.
The specs are .84ct, I, VS1, 'VG' cut according to BN

Also, the prongs are kinda big.. I hope that they dont look overwhelming on her dainty fingers.

btw. assuming she says yes, we're gonna need to start shopping for bands. Any ideas on bands that would complement this design? Btw, my gf's got small fingers (4 1/4 rings size!). Normally i should probalby ask her.. but she doesnt really know either since shes not all that into jewelry.

Oh, verrrrry pretty ring! congrats! I think for bands inlovewithJHK posted some great examples of princess cut bands. Also, Tiffany''s makes a gorgeous band with I think rounds and pears...I''ll see if I can find a pic to post but that was my initial thought on seeing your ring. Love those pear sidestones!

Sorry I was mistaken, the Tiffany ring I had in mind is all RB''s but the setting sort of makes them look like marquise or pears.
