Hi!

I've been trying to ID this mark but no luck. (Googling with the term "compass" gets you a lot of, well, compasses...) :) It is probably earlier than 1980s and belonged to a lady who traveled a bit. The "Ct" suggests not from the US (I think?).

I don't know what the stone is--best guess is my birthstone, garnet.

Any idea? Thanks!

It's beautiful . I'd go see a local jeweler who has antique stuff and they will tell you what stone it is. I'd also send an email to Lang Antiques with the hallmark, they are experts in deciphering this.

It looks a little to me like a compass tool, but I can't seem to find that mark in an assay mark search.
