I'm not done for this year yet. Still have some stones to photograph so I can share to you.
And I know I will keep buying till the end of the year...
So, just a few recent purchases that I did photograph and actually have them on desktop

it's a one carat green-blue tourmaline. I didn't test it for copper which I don't care anyway. As long as it's got a color I want, I'm happy with that.

Very nice stone! There are specimens this color that are native to the U.S. as well.

This is a 4ct rubelite tourmaline. It's eye clean and has a purple magenta color.
A little bit too big for me to wear in a ring...Still deciding on how to set it since I don't wear necklace

Where in the world did you get this?! It is stunning. It would be gorgeous set EW in a bezel on a bangle like the ones Jewels by Grace does.

2.8ct eye clean tanzania spinel. It's from Mahenge, but without the saturated color. Love it anyway.

Wow, love the intensity of color on both of the Tourmalines - and the cut of the Rubellite is just gorgeous! Too bad you deem it too large for your finger; it would look great with diamond step-cut trapezoid side-stones. Maybe it could be bezel-set in 18kt yellow gold and set as a bangle/bracelet?

eta: ha, great minds Rosebloom!

My mining partner has a few bi-colored bright green/bright pale blue Tourmalines from where we mine in the Appalachians. :Up_to_something:

Wow, it's gorgeous! It's a lot of gold = $$$ for setting. But maybe I can change it to chains instead of solid gold!

Hi Marymm, I guess I'm not used to wear big stones, at least not yet :) I have a finger size 4.5, so a 4ct tourmaline is kinda large to me. Usually I'm pretty happy with 1-2ct tourmalines :D
Your first suggestion sounds pretty too!

This is a 1.77ct tsavorite. Somehow I think it's a little bluish green. I know PSer's all love those medium-green tsavorite but I do love medium-dark ones better  I was trying to find a larger tsavorite and ended up buying one from Wilds, then worried it's not eye clean and returned it...It's 2.8ct. Well, guess I need to wait for that 2-3ct tsavorite to find me!

2.3ct tanzanian spinel, not saturated either but I kept it anway. It's more orangish that last one, I call it salmon pink

The Tsavorite pear is a beautiful color and such a great pear shape - looks to have a high crown and small table, yes? This assymetrical pear ring by Annette Tillander immediately came to mind (the top ring in the pic, though I do love the lower ring too!).

Alright, that's pretty much it for the loose stones...I've got a few jewelry done as well, it should be a separate thread and a bit later..
Running to the dentist now. Happy Black Friday everyone!!!

Wow. I was trying to keep track of all of the ones I loved - and I've lost track by the end of your thread! hahah.

The blue tourmaline - love the color. The pear tsavorite is amazing, and so is that pink spinel. OMG. Beautiful new collection - really, amazing. I can't wait to see your set collection.

Nice finds OTL,
I really love the opal. I've been searching for a nice opal, to no avail. They're usually dyed, or have some other enhancement, triplets, unstable play of color, blah looking, etc. . .
