Today was one of those days where I had to look at the photo of my furbaby:


It's really difficult to be mad at that face. And I've been plenty mad these last couple of weeks where every single day I've come home to something that's been destroyed. Since the full-on arrival of rainy season, I haven't been able to do 1-2 hikes/week as I had been over the summer. The sudden withdrawal of hiking combined with me being out of the house from 6AM-10PM (he isn't alone for that long though), has made Douglas super destructive. I'm at my wit's end!

This brat has flooded the kitchen twice. Always playing in the sinks and loves to play in water. DH gives him ice to play with, moves the faucet to give Atticus more room and luckily another flood was diverted because I stayed in the room to video.

Matata, hahaha, mine love playing in the sink with the faucet too and one day I am worried what I might come home too LOL. And btw our center island looks just like your center island. Granite and sink and faucet. They could be twins. I like your taste.

I want a kitten!!!

My cat came to me when she was 2.5yo, so I missed out the kitten phase.

Kittens and puppies are infinitely more adorable to babies to me, sorry!

Haha I see your point and yes they are crazy adorable and so playful. But think about it like this. Kittens are also a ton more work and can be very destructive so it's not like it's all fun and games. Well, for the kittens it is lol. I say adopt a kitten rescue or two along with your adult cat and you can experience the joy of kitten hood and save another life or two! That's my vote anyway.

The baby is 10 months old, 23 lbs; a few inches shy of 4 ft standing on his hind legs; 19" at the shoulder when standing on all 4s. I think he'll top out at at around 25 lbs. He's eating us out of house and home. I may have to go back to work.

Yep. Quail, rats, mice, guinea pigs, chickens as well as buffalo, rabbit, duck, and goose meat. The food is cheaper than commercially prepared diets but the shipping is what kills me. Rodentpro is in midwest and I'm west coast. Food is shipped 2-3 day FedXpress. In the summer I sometimes have to use next day air.

I use Mazuri supplements -- one for slab meat and one for whole prey.

I have a friend who breeds European boxers, and she does the whole raw diet.
There is a farm near her that specializes in raw foods - so she gets chickens, rabbits, ducks and geese at a killer price. Downside (or upside) they do not ship- so one must drive and pick up.

She had to get over her apprehension over handling various organs

I do know that it costs her an insane amount to feed her brood though.
Thats why I thought id ask

LET ME IN!!! And if I don't get there soon enough to suit him, he jumps up and hangs from the top of the doorframe. Came out of my office one day to see a swaying belly and hind legs gently wafting to and fro. I have got to get a shot of that.
