I''ve just read the previous threads on the Salton unit, as well as, other ultrasonic units.
Here''s my question. I''ve been using a Goddard''s Jewelery Cleaner or a detergent / ammonia solution; followed by brushing and soaking in near boiling water. To avoid spotting on the diamonds I put my ring in a strainer and blow them dry with a hairdryer. I don''t see any residue.
Has anyone else tried this method? If so, how does the Salton compare. Better?
I''m getting a very thin (2 mm) eternity band. Would the band be safe if cleaned by the Salton?
I''m tempted to join in and order one.
