Something interesting, in my country ppl sell the diamond with GIA and IGI reports only. And ppl tell me that MOST of GIA diamonds are not H&A. If you need H&A, get a diamond with "IGI H&A Report". Fine, no problem, I can go for it, but the "IGI H&A Report" tells the TABLE DIAMETER, CROWN DEPTH and PAVIL DEPTH, no crown angle and pavil angle. In this case how can I identify whether it''s FIC or BIC or TIC? (Actually i am looking for a FIC).
Experts, if a 0.6 ct IGI H&A round diamond with
Table Diameter: 55%
Crown Depth: 15%
Pavil Depth: 43%
then can you tell me it''s a BIC, TIC or FIC? I am looking for a FIC, what those numbers should be?
I''ve surfed the IGI official website, seems they''ve got another MUCH STRONGER report called "IGI Ideal Cut Report", it lists the details of the diamond, including the crown angle and pavil angle. Can I say a diamond with "IGI Ideal Cut Report" is much better than one with "IGI H&A Report"? Any comment?
