Hi!
I have attached a picture of my Tacori rings I will be receiving back soon.
I want to get mine and my FI''s rings engraved with our initials at a local jeweler. as i have had so much problems getting this ring I do not want anything to risk damaging my ring!
I emailed my jeweler about if getting the inside engraved will put the ring at risk and this is what he said:
engraving is not an issue. Just make sure they don''t mark them when they
secure them to be engraved. Have them place a spacer which won''t mark the
rings.
What does he mean by "mark" the rings? Will anything risk damaging my rings if I have them engraved? What is a spacer and what will that do? Would I have to tell the engraver to use this or will they know what to do?
I dont want anything to ruin or nick or scratch or do anything to harm the milgrain or stones. NOT after all I have been through with these rings!
If there is any risk of even minute damage i will not do it.
thanks!
