princess cut setting

Hi, I''m considering this ring and using it with .5 carat princess cut:

My question is, when you look at the large pictures of the side profile, the diamond seems to be sitting way far up in the setting? Is this normal? Or, should the bottom of the diamond be flush with the ring? One of the reasons I like this ring is because it''s circular instead of coming up to a point (cathedral style?) at the diamond. But, I don''t want the diamond sticking way up off the ring. Thanks for any help/advice.

Just tell them you want the diamond set low. that should do the trick. Beautiful setting, BTW.
