However, I am absolutely smitten with the open profile of the Sholdt Fremont solitaire. This view is just oh-so-sexy! Mmmmm....perhaps my perfect setting is a combo of this and the Torchiere.

Knox has about 3-4 bezels and I think I like this one best. It just seems right to me. Delicado on Knox site

This is all cracking me up! I LOVE Knox and they have done a custom piece for me. In fact, I am heading over there tomorrow after work to have it cleaned and polished so I can finally post some pictures over in the colored gemstone forum!

I LOVE Mark Morrell''s torchiere setting...

This will probably be my permanent solitaire setting when I get my ring (vs. my great-grandma''s ring which we''re using for the time being). It is just so incredibly fluid and graceful and feminine. This is offsetZ33''s Torchiere. Le sigh.

I LOVE the new Hand Over Hand solitaire from Whiteflash. I'm seriously considering it for my ring. I also really like Leon Mege solitaires, especially the cushions with double claw prongs--yum! (The picture is the Whiteflash ring)

Agreed!!! I like the royal x-prong too, but with a cushion hehe. Basically just a tapered shaft and a little bit taller setting. Both amazing rings. I just wish we could afford a designer setting. Maybe we''ll upgrade in a few years. I also love the x-prong pave. I know its not a solitaire but also amazing.

I am love with this Leon. I have looked and looked since finding PS and it''s my absolute dream ring (with the following modifications).

Instead of the pave shank, I want a very thin/delicate knife edge with a matching knife edge wedding band. I always thought I wanted 6 prongs, but I L

VE the NSEW orientation of the 4 prong on this basket, just perfect!

Best of all, BF loved it too!!! YAY!!

My fave is still the one that I ended up with (Lucida), but this is definitely a close runner up. It''s beautiful!

I LOVE dani''s EC solitaire!! Her ring was one of my inspirations for my ring as well as Shminbabe''s. They are both so simple and timeless looking! I love the double claw prongs of Dani''s! So beautiful!! (hopefully she doesn''t mind!)
