It is a bit on the expensive side for US market.
The combined duties and VAT to ship a diamond to Aus. Is about 25% if I am not mistaken so the price seems Ok for Aus.
The diamond itself looks very nice. EX/EX is great.
Hope this helps.

Hey Scheiner,

thanks for your input; price was calculated as follows
AUD$9800 less VAT = AUD$8900; then its a matter
of converting to USD which fluctuates daily...

just an indication of exchange rates...

if AUD$1 = USD$0.70 then it costs USD$6230;
if AUD$1 = USD$0.75 then is costs USD$6675;

bump - anyone else?

Have you seen this one? From the 'SI1' grade without images, I can't tell whether it has some obvious smudge all over or no visible flaws at all...

Ex-Ex is cute on the lab report but does not translate into brilliance, and that is something I would want to know. If it matters to you or not, remains your choice.

I am not sure what taxes look like etc. but just comparing prices with quotes for H&A cut rounds around here, there seems to be room for one.
