Please help me decide on finishes for OEC ring!

OWD has just finished setting my 2.88 OEC. ! Before seeing the ring, I was pretty sure that I wanted to add milgrain on the inner edge of bezel, and to add a satin finish. However, now I am looking at the video and loving what I’m seeing. I’m torn! Would you add Milgrain on the inner edge of the bezel and/or a satin finish to the ring?

I would mill grain but satin finish has no bearing on a period style.
However rubbing with a course steel wool will get you a satin finish that you can touch up any ol time.

Thanks for the input, that’s exactly the direction I’m leaning towards!
