I''m also shopping for the jewerly insurance. After reading this forum, I think I might have to go with Chubb (only if I can find an agent who will insure only the ring here in NYC). If anyone has any suggestion, please let me know.

stone specs look good - but hard to say without crown and pavilion angles.

Chubb is an excellent choice.

You can search prices for loose diamonds here on PS so you do not need our help.

How do I go about getting the crown and pavilion angles info? This is not on the GIA cert. Will my appraiser be able to tell me this?

not easily if its set.
It needs to be sacnned loose

but he/she could look with an ideal-scope and easily see if there are any problems if the stone is set.
