Hi DF,
It's been a while since we've communicated.
You're right -- I'd have to go down in size to go up in colour. But, even though mine is graded as an I, it's a little ball of whiteness and has really grown on me.
Thanks for your kind words on my necklace. I plan to dangle coloured stones from it. What cuts would you suggest?

Skippy dear, I'm having a dense day and don't understand you. It's officially an I according to AGS. But, according to 2 appraisers, it's a J. Does that answer your question?

I read where you''ve grown quite fond of it. I was going to say, only change it if you''re not happy. But it sounds like you are, so of course keep it!!

Thanks! That was important to me. I did things backwards and got the setting I loved and now the center diamond will have to follow (I didn''t even pick the center stone, it was a replacement stone for a cracked one and it was pre-PS), I am trying to resist the urge of upgrading now and saving a little more...

Then after that I guess I will just have to find some other fun projects to work on
