Photos of Reflections

I''ve been looking at a lot of photos that everyone has posted.
I notice that some are pictures of reflections of trees off the table.
The other day, I decided to do just that. Photograph reflections off of my diamond.
i had no idea how DIFFICULT this might be. After aligning the camera, the trees, the diamond and the sunlight..
I got some really neat shots so I thought i''d share them. If you have some photos of reflections from your diamond,
please post them here!!
Pictures.. the 1st one is not a reflections photo but i had to include it.. is it a diamond or a peridot?!

Wow, really cool pics MB!! I never thought of trying that, but I may have to now.

One thing I do sometimes at night when I''m laying in bed watching the tube, is watch it on the table of my ring. The way I lay my hand on the pillow, it will catch the picture on it. I''m weird, I know.

please do take some reflection shots! it''s fun!
but difficult, you have to get the camera to blur and refocus
on the table only. kinda weird.. holding still, making sure there are trees
on the table, the lighting... sigh.. good luck!
i know what you mean bout using the table to look at things..
maybe you should get a reflection shot of the tv!! let''s see what
we can catch on our tables. hehehehe
