Nice! I've only recently started to appreciate the charms of peridot.
I got this Egyptian inspired peridot Ring,it's 10k plumb gold and a simple 1 or so carats of peridot. The Egyptians lived peridot and dubbed it the gem of the sun.Itsa Clyde dunier ring.
oh its lovelly
its perfectly proportioned
sorry i didn't see this until now - my bad
It turned out to be green topaz,I don't mind, although I now want some peridot
i love all green stones
im not sure i even knew topaz came in green
is it treated to go green or is it a natural colour ?
i have come to appreate topaz more and more the more of it i see, especially in a nice setting
peridot definatly deserves all the love it can get
It may be natural,if it is it's a fine stone indeed...on the other hand if it's treated the rare color makes it just as desirable as it's still natural if its heat treated
It is also the original "imperial topaz" and green topaz is the most rare by far
