Overwhelmed ... diamond question

Hi Everyone

I''m very glad I stumbled across this site! especially the night before honey was going to purchase our engagement ring! otherwise he would of been taken

We have a humble budget but of course we want the most bang for our buck... (as we likely will not upgrade in the future). We are still in the process of learning and any knowledge from here would be much appreciated.

We are interested in these 2, the first one is a tad over our budget, but want to know if in the end it really is the better purchase.

If you want the most bang for your buck, I would go with a lower color and lower clarity. Don''t sacrifice on cut...get an ideal cut diamond! No exceptions!
