Number 1 might be worth investigating further, who certified it? I think the depth on number 2 is too deep and it must be an EGL cert, an S13 MIGHT have visible inclusions. Do you have any more info such as the crown and pavillion angles? This would help the cut enthusiasts to advise you. Also if these are both EGL certs are they EGL USA?

on the first the v-thn girdle also needs to be checked to see how much of it is v-thn and if its going to be a durability issue.

The second doesnt look too promising so far.

I agree the second one doesn''t look very good to me. Ask the vendor to check the girdle as Storm said on the first one. Good luck, let us know what they say.

what am I looking for? Having been married twice before and both times having gotten vvs1 diamonds about .8 in size.. I am going to get married for the last time.. (one way or another) so wanted to get a nice size stone about 1 ct. with good color and sparkle..but frankly in my experience.. one inclusion.. ie i1 or si1 is just fine in a rock this size for me. Want it to look large and clear.. so going for size and looks over clarity cut... though a good cut would be great.. like to get a ring in a platinum setting for under 3000 grand cdn.. what are the chances lol?

Well it is EGL which has a rep for being loose on color grades with their reports. I cannot see the Crown or Pavilion numbers. I would pass on this stone because it has Good polish and Good Symmetry which does not meet my own expectations for a nice diamond. Also if the feather is near the edge of the diamond in can cause stability issues. HTH
