Hi, guys once again, my bf and I found this asscher from a very reputable retailer,,,well here are the stats:

Report: EGL
Shape: Asscher
Carat: 2.38
Color: H
Clarity:VVS2
Depth: 68
Table: 69
Girdle: TN
Polish: Very Good
Symmetry: Very Good
Culet: None
Fluorescence: Nono
Measurements: 7.34*7.31*4.98
Length/width: 1.00

What do you guys think? THanks in advance.

the table is too big for my taste and i''m not a fan of lower color squares graded by egl.
if you''ve seen it and loved it, great. i wouldn''t pick this out of a paper line up though.

I vote no on the table alone. 69% is big for an Asscher. I think 65% is most people''s cut off ... I went up to 67% and worry a little about it .. but 69% would be too much for me.

If you were still considering it after knowing that ... I''d wonder if it was EGL isreal or USA. It would probably be a grade or two lower than GIA ... so realize it''s more like a GIA I/J (which is IMO too much color for such a large size & open cut).

All in all - no from me (but I''m not an expert).

I''d pass also, the table is just too big. Try looking a www.goodoldgold.com or www.whiteflash.com . I bought my asscher from GOG, and it''s beautiful. Good luck and try to stay away from EGL if you can.
