(Rapaport...December 27, 2005) Collectors Universe Inc., a diamond grading and authentication services company, will present at The 8th Annual Needham Growth Conference in New York City on January 11, 2006. The four-day conference will take place at the New York Palace Hotel, Collectors Universe plans to offer the presentation via the web as well, beginning at 11:30 a.m. EDT January 11.
In early November, Collectors Universe acquired Gem Certification & Appraisal Lab (GCAL,) the Diamond Profile Laboratory Inc. (DPL,) a scientific diamond light performance analysis laboratory, and all publishing and other rights to Don Palmieri''s Market Monitor.
