Below is the patent abstract for a Kazumi Okuda diamond cut with angles designed to optimize blue and purple fire.
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED:
To provide a cut design for more brilliant diamond and improve color quality for diamond on condition of a complemetary color.
SOLUTION:
This cut design is a brilliant cut for diamond that both of light incident on a table surface and emitted from a crown surface and light incident on the crown surface and emitted from the crown surface have focuses. When the sizes of a pavilion angle and a crown angle of the cut design are determined, the wavelength of blue color or a purple light color is desirable to be used and thereby brightness of blue color light can be intensively generated.
