Ok i think it''s down to two stones... I need to get the ball rolling, so I have to make a choice. Please select from the two stones below and tell me which to get. Some side notes: I would like the biggest stone possible for around $8000. The cut and fire of the diamond is just as important to me as well. So please advise on how much bigger the larger stone will be and also let me know what you think of the cut VS. ct Well here goes...

Well... then... between D-H, and VS2 -Si2 woulsn't the bigger be H-SI ?

I see there aren't too many diamonds just below 1.5 cts on the 'Cut Quality Search' - assuming you have looked there first. The weight is desirable given that those just above 1.5 cost significantly more. But, 1.5 cts would not be all that much larger than your D-SI2. You could also pick a seller and ask for them to source a stone with your preffered specs, if there is none on display right now.

Just a thought ...

Btw,

you may want to search for AGS0 rounds on the other serach engine... AMong the finds, this 1.51 cts E-Si2 might just do the trick. It is listed by several sellers, as usual - I picked one at random. Here the LINK. There is no copy of the lab raport, but what info is there already, amkes me think of a cute bit of diamond with a vintage look (53% table, AGS0). Cool!

There are a couple of other D-H SI1 ans SI2s AGS0 comming up on a search. There are no pictures as yet for these, but there could be, if you ask the stone in. Since the D-SI2 you have altready picked is not H&A, I deduce this is not a must (and sympathise with the choice).

Hope this helps
