Excited! He''s looking at mostly IGI diamonds, as we''re abroad currently. I posted this thread in rockytalky, but didn''t get much of a response. Do you ladies have any thoughts?

The other option is to wait until we''re back in the U.S., but I''m not going to knock looking at IGI cert diamonds if he''s inclined to browsing!

when will you be back in the US? also how much are the taxes?

We''ll be back in the U.S. within 6 months. No sales tax abroad. Sales tax in the U.S. would be 6-8%, depending on where we shop.

Do you also advise that we wait for a GIA diamond in the U.S.?
