I would like to make a final decision in the next few weeks. I would really appreciate feedback since it''s my first time making a purchase of this kind.

I am looking specifically at princess stones of approx 1.7ct, G-J, vs2-Si2.

The more I read in the forum the more I feel I need the help in selecting a good princess cut stone.

Here are some that I have found but comments and other suggestions would be great.

Thanks in advance.

Ok, here''s my opinion:
I like the first one the best of what you posted. I have owned several princess cuts in different colors, sizes, and dimensions. I found that the table needs to be smaller than the depth, and really it works best if the table and depth are as equal as possible. If your table is larger, then yes you might have a larger spread, or look to the stone, but you will sacrifice the ability of light being able to be refracted out efficiently and it will appear mirror/glassy-like; i.e. dead. If you can, call and speak with the vendor directly for their description of the stones. In the end, with fancy cuts, it is my opinion that you have to make the call with your own eyes. Have you been to some stores to see how princess cuts perform? You might want to do that, just to see how they throw light (especially rainbows, not just white light), and color differences. I ended up with a modified rectangular brilliant (a rectangular princess) that spoke to me. Take your time and look at lots of rocks. ...good luck!
