So awhile ago I sold my 2 ct transitional cut RHR ring, and actually made a decent profit doing it . I've been poking around looking for a few things to spend it on- an Art Deco bracelet being one of the things I've wanted for a long time but never quite found the right one. The really ornate ones are gorgeous... but really I already have several ornate filigree/engraved platinum bracelet-like watches that scratch that itch better than most of that type of actual bracelets (that I can afford).
So instead I'd been looking for one of the line/tennis style bracelets with OECs and box style links with engraving and millgrain. Deco, definitely antique, but still classic and not likely to steal the show from my e-ring
Finally found one that seems perfect... the seller calls it 3.5cttw, but I think it's more likely 4.5-5cttw based on the measurements and the pics, compared to others. It's platinum, with fairly low set stones and open on the side (I don't like really high profile ones, and I prefer the more open links on the side to the fully boxed in sides). The engraving looks very nice, though since the links are really delicate and open there wasn't much space for a more ornate pattern. I will probably need a link or two removed, it's pretty long for my wrist. (And maybe I could make the extra into small studs, since I want some smaller ones for my father-back pierces.)
I purchased it off ebay and, though the seller quoted a restocking fee, I asked them to waive it and they did. So at least I have a decent free return period.
It's 7.25" (I wear a 6.5-6.75), 40 stones, G/H color & VS1-SI1 clarity. Can't wait to see it in person! These are the seller's pics of it.
Incidentally Dover Jewelry listed a really similar bracelet on their website just recently too that I was considering as well; they call it 4 ct estimated but it's clearly noticeably smaller in visual size and also measurement, with *delicious* engraving for around the same price. (I suspect theirs is less than 4 ct, and this one is a bit more.) So if any PSer needs a similar one they've got it
