Need pendant ideas for silky pale pinkish spinel

I am at a loss as to how to set this beautiful, subtle pinkish lavender spinel!

It is 2.3 carats and about 8x7.5mm

I know I want a pendant. I want something that ensures it doesn't blend into my pale, pink skin So, no solitaires. Nothing too glitzy though, because I want this to be an everyday type of necklace.

I was trying to find images of something like an asymmetrical cluster, or something like that, but couldn't find much.

Something celestial?

Something floral?

I am thinking rose gold.

I LOVE the forest sprite design. The spinel is so ethereal and fairy-like I would want something to complement that - leaves, floral, that sort of things.

The snowflake from Kataoka and the ring I posted above it that’s very similar remind me of clusters of stars…maybe it’s just me!

i *think* I may end up working with David Klass to combine elements from both into one starry, ethereal, cluster necklace!

I am so excited about this project! I take this stone out to admire it constantly…it’s about time she has a home!

Big upvote for the celestial/snowflake direction. That spinel has it's own glow and making it a 'heavenly body' certainly fits.

I’m getting so excited! I think adding a little extra sparkle will really also help the stone stand out…I’d hate for it to just blend right into my skin

Pretty! What do you think of having the diamonds spike out more, starburst style? Currently it looks like a halo. I love the scallops!

I am not sure if I want it to have too much spread, as I was thinking of wearing it everyday and the stone already is kinda large…I’m curious to see what revisions look like and may explore different options!
