Need Help!

Obviously I need professional help.

I woke up this morning with a nearly finished ditty in my head and can not figure out a good finish nor dismiss it from my mind.

Brought about from a severe case of "I miss my good friend John Pollard and our nearly daily conversations..."

Since I can not mandate his return, nor would I if I could, maybe you can help me come up with a strong finish to this as I am unable to do so... (Bring back my Johnny to me seems lame and he''s not MY Johnny.)

With his hair trimmed short,
and his honeymoon long,

Maybe if I could finish this properly I could put it out of my mind...

P.S. Any of you too young to have heard the ditty about "where oh where has my little dog gone?" probably think I am totally insane instead of just unstable...

I did hear from John yesterday afternoon. He was making his first internet connection since leaving Texas checking on airline connections.

He sent a few pictures and both he and Angela look to be having a great time. She is a tanned goddess and he appears just a little crispy around the edges, but not too burned. I will let him share his photos when he returns.

Any more conclusions for our song? Maybe another verse or two?
