Hi - Please help me select a diamond. All three stones fit my budget. Also, I''d like to buy the stone online, and then have it set locally. I live in a major metropoliatin area. Will I have a hard time finding a jewler who will set the stone? Is there anything else i need to be aware of. I''d like to have the ring read by the end of May. Thanks for your help!

Given a choice, I''d say none. These are virtual stones. I would take a peek at the Expert Selection stones. They are in house and can be looked at for more info. They also have pics and IS to help narrow it down.

Some places will set stones if you didn''t buy from them and some won''t. The ones that will usually will not take responsibility if something happens while it is being set. (diamond chips etc.) You need to talk to the people you are hoping to have set to make sure that they will and what they will or won''t take responsibility for. HTH

Not sure if Whiteflash does this but you could just ask Whiteflash if they have an appraiser that can look at the stone in your area. If your in a Metro area I''m sure there''s someone who could evaluate the stone for you & maybe you could have the added plus of seeing it there with your own eyes. Of course, you will be charged for the appraisal but at least it gives you piece of mind when major $$$$$ are concerned.

That''s what I''m doing with a stone I picked out virtually & if all goes well when "my eyes see it" I may very well see a big sparklie upgrade at last. Although, I love the idea of buying on the net - I''m still oldfashioned - in that my eyes must see it & love it before I fork over a ton of cash.
