Hi everyone im new to the forum, it has so far been a great resource as i knew little to nothing about diamonds. I am currently looking at a james allen setting below. My question is on the website they let you see the setting with different color diamonds and when i look at the H color it seem to be much darker then the diamonds that come with the ring even though they say they are all G-H. Can anyone else comment if this is just lighting or is it really that noticable

Thanks for the help.

Hi Silunk and welcome!

I think it is just lighting and a result of the photography, I often notice centre stones look a little darker in comparison to side stones regardless of colour, this is normal, tiny melee often look very white. As to your centre stone, choose with care and make cut quality a priority then you will have a stunning ring, we would be pleased to help you find some well cut selections or you can always post the details of any diamond you are interested in so we can give our opinions.
