That IS a good question Widgie- I don''t know if GIA keeps records in such a manner, but I woukld love to know.

So... THIS is what all was about

Somewhere the webpage reads ''If we actually sell this ($45k) piece of carbon , they''ll probably give name their first born after us.'' I would think so too, really. Yiks!

Oh well, (reffering to my previous posts on this thread) I still do not know if GIA ever graded black diamonds although they would if asked to - that much they would tell. Gubelin has seen large black diamonds in mountings: they describe a parure and some historic pieces. I wish I knew better.

hey Everyone - Guess what I just located- a Diamond which GIA graded Fancy Black!!!!!

So there- it DOES exist!!!!
