This one was more for the band than the diamond. For once it wasn''t catching some big dark reflection, and looks more like it does in real life.

OK Miss skippy, this was the best I could do on short notice. I'm running out of ideas lol. I tried to find something that would add interest and color, so I grabbed this inexpesive decorative plate I have, I love the colors in it.

Sorry for my dry old hands in all these pics, but I had to choose. Either I lather up so you don't have to look at them, but the bands get all smeary from the lotion, or I forego the lotion and force you to see dry hands. The bands won.

I love your diamond. It has all the colors of the rainbow and some. hehehe

Ellen, I''m a little late chiming in but just wanted to say I LOVE your new ring! It is a perfect match to your beautiful diamond ring. I am kind of traditional, and I like the look of two rings together. Yours are really stunning!

I''ve said this before, but I have the matching curved band and I''m a little frustrated with it. It is one of my few (recent) purchases that I have second thoughts about. Here is what happened: We bought the Vatche e-ring setting from a local store which price-matched to online prices. (It was a reset of my stone.) They spent a lot of time with me and so DH and I both thought that we should buy my band from them (if their prices were competitive) due to their time spent plus the good customer service they offered. First I bought a plain 3 mm band and almost immediately I decided it just didn''t look right - the profiles were too different and they were always clanking eachother. I exchanged it for the matching Vatche band. I didn''t realize that the matching band wouldn''t stay aligned with the e-ring, and by the time I figured it out (a few days), I didn''t have the guts to try to return the ring. I sort of wish I had now. I love how they look when they are together, but I am constantly adjusting their alignment. I sort of wish I had taken my time and bought a 2, 2.5 or 3 mm comfort fit band (maybe even the Lucida band) that did match better. On the other hand, I''m kind of a matchy person, so i might have always wished I had bought the matching band!! Live and learn, I guess. I''m thinking of an upgrade in a few years (bigger stone, ideal cut) which would mean a new setting.... and so this curved wedding band would become useless at that point ...

Anyway, that''s a long way of saying that I love your wedding band, and I think you made a very wise purchase!

I''m sorry you''re not happy with the band. Could you possibly have them sized a wee bit smaller, so the don''t spin so much? Outside of soldering, that''s the only thing I can think of to help.

Otherwise, just enjoy them, until you get that upgrade.

there was a woman at the pool today who had a set similar to yours. I couldn''t get close enough to see her e-ring setting but from a few feet away she had a plain setting and plain band about the same width as yours with a very nice size round stone. there was something so classic and beautiful about it although the bands were plain. I just thought that is probably what your set looks like in person and it was wonderful!!
