What kind of camera are you using if i may ask. I might suggest one trick that gets the ring in focus if it is set on auto focus.
it seems it is capturing the area with the most sharp contrasting edges and here is the flowers in the back. you may push the button half way when you have your ring in the cross hair and before you fire... back the camera off a tad then push all the way down and fire the shot.

You had excellent shots there and the ring no doubt is an eye candy

Thanks Doc, I'm going to try it soon as I get a chance!!!It's a point and shoot variety. It does seem to focus on various areas of the flower instead of the ring. You can't believe the # of pics I've deleted. Thank goodness for digital.

Rosetta, Perry is just a gem, himself! He was so patient with me as I kept getting on PS myself and saying what about this one or that one? He had checked them all himself. I feel he treats it as if it was his money he was spending to get the best! As far as the size it really goes from 1 side to the other of my ring finger, touching the other fingers. When Leon first sent me a picture, I started measuring it on my computer screen and setting up a ratio with the measurement of the center which I had seen, with it's measurement on screen to figure out how wide it would be. I kept asking him, "are you SURE this is going to work?" LOL

yep, that pic answered it I was wondering whether the sides of the shank rose to meet the end sidestones or if the basket just protruded straight from the shank.
