Thanks all for your wonderful responses. I think her ring is beautiful too! Those coaster pictures came out very nice!

D2B- my camera is a Canon G7. About a month after I bought it they announced the G9! Its a fantastic camera. I bought it online (B&H photo) as it is still not available in stores. Its a point and shoot with the capability to add lenses.

Hopefully I can send this thread (link) to my friend and maybe she''ll join PS?
