My dream ring!

Hi All.
I haven''t been on this site in over a year. Saw this ring at my jewelers and had to try it on, this is my dream ring! 4 cts, L, VVS and I want it! I normally wouldn''t even look at a L color, but this one is beautiful. I was only there to pick up a ring that I had resized, and he let me wear this while I waited. Heavy sigh......

Wow, 4 cts, I could barely form a cohesive thought. It looks gorgeous! I would never have guessed L! and.... the price does seem really good. Has your jeweler had it in stock forever? I just did a quick search and a 3.49 L VS1 was >$28,000. Are you thinking of getting it?

Hi, just got home from work, so sorry for the slow response. I''m going to call my jeweler tomorrow and have him fax me the cert. I was floored when he told me the price and grabbed a loupe to get a closer look. That''s when he told me it was VVS, and said I wasn''t going to see anything with the loupe, and he was right. You all will have to help me with the certification, I know it''s EGL, but it will all be greek to me! There has to be something there that will explain the price. Am I going to get it? No, it is only a dream ring. I must have worn it for half an hour, it was so hard to give it back. And my avatar is my son''s twin toy poodlle puppies. Are they not the cutest little things you have ever seen? I promise updates tomorrow.
