It's a K/L..isn't that pretty much the same as a 'K'? My guess would have been L/M !

Our current loose diamonds are not certed (which we are re-thinking), therefore it was graded as a K/L, meaning "low K/high L"

My own OEC is an M/N and former OMC was a K/L, and both are FAR more saturated in color than this diamond. The dealer who graded the diamond did so against GIA certed stones, so we are confident that GIA would call it a K or better.

What a show stopper! Sure makes turning 30 (although still young!!) so much easier!! If I didn't know the color of the diamond before hand, I would have guess it to be an I color. It really does face up pretty white!!! Erica, Grace, and Leon!!! YOU did AWESOME!! SHEER PERFECTION! I can't wait to see how you set your pinkish brown cushion ala Leon!!

Thanks everyone!!! Unfortunately there''ll be no fire shots as the sun has not been cooperating. Bit of an over cast (although the sun looks like it wants to come out).

I love the warmth of the antique cushion. If I had a brilliant cut, naturally I''d go whiter. Here''s a couple more pics (indoors) next to my G princess. It''s much whiter than any J I''ve seen or owned in person.

And for those who asked about the other project that will start in a couple months? I plan on having this natural brown set in a white halo with diamonds 3/4 on the shank with LM. It''s a 2.10 cushion which I''ll send to the GIA prior to setting (the stone was cut for me so being fresh off the press, I wanted to view it before getting it graded).

I''d say the pic LM took, is the most accurate how it looks in dark conditions. Probably coming out a bit warmer in the pic, but close.

Thanks! I do plan on alternating with my princess. My princess was once in a solitaire setting, but it needed more. And seeing everyone''s solitaires here? I was beginning to miss that look!!
