When I was at the Intergem show back in May I commissioned Andrew Sarosi to make a setting for my vanadium chrysoberyl. After a long wait, my ring is now done. The stone is a 1.19 mint green vanadium chrysoberl and the setting is 18k rose gold with a matte finish. The diamonds are set in 18 white gold. The original thread can be foundhere.
The camera makes the stone look more intense than it actually is. The color here is pretty accurate just not as intense.
The underside with (blurry) leaf detail.
Profile shot and a better picture of the leaves.
Another profile shot.
Hand shot. I''ll actually be wearing it on my right hand but I can''t manage to take pictures with my left hand. This shot shows a nice contrast between the rose and yellow gold too.
