How important is to choose similar color diamonds for a 3 stone ring? For example, if you have sidestones of H, SI1 would it look weird to have an E or F stone in the center? Thanks.

I think it would be a safe bet to stay within one color grade. Clarity is probably less important as long as all of the stones are eye clean. My three stone has an F SI1 center stone and G VS2 side stones and I cannot tell any difference between them.

Within one color grade is the general rule. Obviously the same color would be prefered. The difference between E and H will be obvious to most people and if you''re discriminating enough to choose E for a center stone, why skimp on the side stones?
