Do you think a 4.76mm round stone will fit in a 4mm prong basket? I haven''t set such small stones before, so I was wondering. Thanks in advance!!

I’m afraid 5 mm will be a better fit than 4 mm. Your stone may have to sit so high that there’s no enough metal left to put the notches in.

I''d go for 5mm too. The only issue you may find is a very very slight airline but that could be covered by a good benchman adding a little gold to the basket.
