I like the spess the best, the pink spinel would be my second choice.

Nice pendant!
I don''t have any spess in a setting.... Thank you LFC!!

I''m liking the chryso and the spess the best, personally.

I like the chryso the best - I think it''s the best balance of color. I love that spess, but I think it looks too stark in the all-white gold, and the contrast makes it look small - if the inner halo were yellow gold, it would probably be stunning! And the pink spinel looks too washed out - in rose gold, it would be lovely.

Thanks for answering my question.

I really like the pendant and I like the red spinel, though that one does seem a bit too big.uu
What a great collection of gems you have!!!

You are a lucky lady!

Spinel - lacks clarity/brilliance to stand a chance between all those diamonds.

Chrysoberyl - nothing wrong with it, but in such a setting I''d prefer something with more color saturation.

Spessartite - my pick

I vote the spessartite too because it stands out the most. The other two looked dull in comparison.

I was screaming CHRYSO as this thread was unfolding and then ............ I got to the montage and the Spess hit me between the eyes!

I can imagine that the chryso IRL is incredibly sparkly and performs brilliantly throwing off different colours? This is so difficult to capture in a photo. I adore it as a gemstone and think it would make a wonderful pendant. However, if the Spess is a great orange and not too dark, for "lookability" appeal, I''d go for that.

What colour clothes do you wear more often because both are lovely but which will get more use?

Thanks for the additional pictures. I think it comes down to the Chrys, the yellow spess, or the pink spinel. We can''t see the sparkle that you can. Which stone do you think sparkles the best in the setting? I''d probably pick the one that has the color that I would wear most often.

The yellow spess - it just *pops* amongst a field of white.

I like both the chrysoberyl and the spessartite. Hard decision!! Does the spessartite get more washed out in the setting since you said it was on the yellow side?

The pendant is very nice and looks to have a nice, substantial gold frame. Not flimsy at all.
