There's this tiny little spot that will be in the BOC in a day or 2 that by the models has some potential to spin up into a little something. The model guidance is thinking about 991MB so pretty much a tropical storm. Unfortunately for Louisiana/Mississippi/Alabama/Florida panhandle, that means that you're in the cross hairs of that thing.

Again, some of our afternoon thunderstorms tend to be stronger but, there's a potential of dumping rain and wind in these already vulnerable areas. There's only been a couple of models showing development so far. NHC has it at 30% with low probability as there's really not a lot of model agreement (I'm using literally a single model as noted below). After its in the BOC is when any type of development (if it happens) will happen. What happens after THAT is extremely ambiguous and could very well change but, yeah I'll show it why not as its the week of September 13. (Peak Week).
