Little emerald treasure

So I walked by this antique jewellery shop today. They have the most beautiful things but oh boy, the prices are… well, high. So I never bought anything there. Today they have a sale on certain pieces. Not the one I normally drool over, but still. I saw this cute wee emerald diamond ring and it so spoke to me. And in I go and it was mine. Nothing fancy, nothing big, but a little something to make me feel good. Just what I needed today. 0.5 ct natural emerald with what I’d say transitional 0.25 ct each diamonds in 750 white gold.

Thank you so much! It really is so cute. The diamonds lean towards modern cut, but are not modern, modern but maybe between transitional and early modern brilliant. I would have preferred OEC's, but ok, I won't complain. I think the ring might be from the 40ies.

It's true. I can't believe how emeralds glow. I think it won't be the last one for me. I really, really am impressed by the stone.

What a beautiful "little" ring! And the diamonds look great but that emerald is so lovely as well! I love finding pieces in person. There's something so satisfying about finding an amazing deal in person or physically walking out of the store with a sparkly in hand. I make 95% of all of my gem/jewelry purchases online, so yeah it's definitely special!
