Last Min Travel Question: Can I take it on a plane?

Has anyone tried to take a hair straightening iron in your carry on luggage lately? I am about to go on a trip, and I REALLY want to take my straightener, but DH is really opposed to checking our bags. I can''t find anywhere in the airline''s restrictions that points out hair straighteners at all.

I''ve carried mine on recently...doubt it will be a problem unless they view it as a weapon for some reason?

That''s good to hear. I guess I can call the airport. I just don''t want my poor straightener confiscated.

I also took mine in my carry-on a few months ago and I didn''t have any problems.
