I've been lurking this forum for weeks now, and I LOVE it!
Diamonds really are a girl's best friend and I'm finding LOTS of friends here!
I recently purchased the following:
Radiant Cut
1/2 carat
F color
vs2
I was told I could get an EGL appraisal for an extra $100, and I opted NOT to do that. Now I'd like someone to look at it and tell me what they think.
Does anyone know a good appraiser in New York City? How much should it cost for a stone this size (Small!) Mind you, this isn't the Hope Diamond, so I'm really looking for a basic appraisal. I know it's not worth thousands, but I'd like to have something on paper.
