About 10 years ago I saw a lady in a Helzberg do this, I just tried it today and it worked great...
She used a baby nose snot sucker (LOL, I don''t know what they are actually called) to squirt air and dry a diamond after being cleaned. It forces the water off the diamond and prevents water spots.
I know some people here use their hair dryers, which is great, but you can slip one of these in a purse for use away from home. Or in my case I am to lazy to pull the hair dryer out of the other room

I prefer the can of air, more preasure and you don''t worry about where the "snot sucker" might have been before!

Yep, that''s the thing I am talking about. I just have a generic one from when my daughter was born.
I never thought of the can of air. I am a photographer, and we use cans of air to blow off lenses and negatives, so I have some of that around. I would think the can would have more forceful air which would be good. I don''t think you can carry that in your purse though (if you are obsessive enough to want to clean your diamond after using restrooms away from home).
