YAY!!! Finally!

I am over the moon!

It is 2.81 ct. and 7.5 x 9.4 mm.

I am still kicking myself for passing at the one in the latest gem scoop, but oh well, I prefer this colour but loved that size.

Settings??? I was originally thinking a 3 stone ring with pear side stones, but will take suggestions on other ideas (HATE HALF MOONS)

I love malaya garnets. And that one is super pretty and a great size! Does it shift color? Pear side stones would look nice. Or ovals?

I haven''t seen it in person, but this is what Jeff wrote
"he color you see in this photo is somewhere between the stone''s actual color in fluorescent and natural/incandescent colors (I use a "daylight balanced" fluorescent lighting setup, so the results tend to be in-between with shifters and changers such as this). The color is a lovely peachy-pink in incandescent/sunlight, and heavily-peach in fluorescent."

This is a photo of my 2 babies on Jeff Whites wife''s hand!

The garnet is 2.81cts and the Spinel is 2.18cts!

I am thinking white gold for the metal.

I think I want a BIG pear cut stone and for that to be a 3 stone ring with pear side stones.

I think I might go with ovals, cute little baby ovals hugging my malaya! hehehe

But is the 3 sided pave a but much?? maybe just 1 row or is it nice enough??

But instead of cushion centre it would be my oval, with oval side stones.
