So this is a cutesy diamond ring but the center stone irks me. Bought it knowing I would swap. Found I have an old. Cut to replace it but also a ruby! Which would you use for the center stone?

The 2 rubies—one is pink and the other red

I like the more purple-pink one. I'd turn it into a little pendant or charm.

A little red star would be adorable, but so would a little antique cut...either, or.

You’d use those stones? They’re too big.

I think they both look good...would you get more wear out of one than the other? The colors are somewhat in a range that
I'm not sure it would even matter (its not like one stone is green and the other is ruby). I guess I'm no help...I like both!:cheeky:

HI:

Setting is cute! I immediately thought of a Paraiba or demantoid or red spinel. Bold pop of color (and in small sizes might be accessible).

cheers--Sharon

I like color in the center best, as it reminds me of a flower.
