so yeah...no clue why the stone is showing up so green. i can see a hint of green, but it usually looks blue, especially in my living room. i can''t get the color that barry posted. not even close, i don''t think. but i still love it!!

i got it from my jeweler, after i picked it out from uniquesettings.com.

here are some profiles. it looks huge and bulky, but it''s really not...these pics are pretty close up. of course, it is a substantial setting, but i think it looks really nice.

the wonderful julia is going to make me a suspended bezel. i believe it was called collet here on PS. attached are some sketches. i chose the profile and head-on view in the second row. the bzel will not be closed as in the pic, though.

SHE IS AWESOME. and SO darn reasonably priced, too. she told me the cost and i said, huh? really? that''s ALL??!?!
