This was produced to make a point of how "deepfake" is dangerous.
People can fall for slickly produced video productions that are very convincing but not real.

Thanks for the exsplanation
I had no idea it was made to make a point
I never looked at it before as it just came across as hugely disrespectful to me

I find it pretty obvious its a fake
Id hate to think anybody would think it was actually real

I agree, it's not very respectful of the monarch.
During my lifetime I've noticed considerable decline in deference for the royals.

I believe this all started 1953 when Prince Phillip insisted that QE2's coronation be brought right into subjects' homes via that newfangled technology, TV.
Then in 1969 they decided to let documentary film cameras right into Buckingham palace in an effort to "show the queen was human".
After broadcast it was hidden away, never to be seen again.
Opps!

Unfortunately for the royals that opened the floodgates.
The erosion of the deference for the royals had begun.
Since then, members of the royal family have themselves damaged the mystique by handing the gossip rags plenty of shocking scandals.

One the other side of the same coin, they should be grateful the British monarchy hasn't been put on the shelf, as it has in many other nations during the 20th century.

But back to using the Queen for this...
It's no secret that media (both social and commercial) manipulates, steers, and controls societies, even democratic ones.
Technology has brought enormous good, but also bad.
Lately I've watched the bad damage American democracy.

IMO using the Queen to attract maximum eyeballs for this message was brilliant.
While poking fun at Her Majesty is not nice, the very naughtiness of choosing her has probably brought this essential message to the maximum number of people.
