I have been looking around and found a diamond that has definite potential to be the one. The dimensions are from the DiaVision (Sarin) Report (AGL View).
1.07 carat, H&A, G, VVS1; It has a GIA Cert)
6.61-6.64 (6.625mm) x 4.05mm
Total Depth - 61.1%
Table Size - 55% (54.79)
Crown Angle - 34.5 (34.2-34.5)
Crown Height - 15.2%
Pavilion Angle - 40.8 (40.7-41.0)
Pavilion Depth - 43%
Culet Size - 0.5%
Girdle 1.06%-1.66% (AGS View)
Star/Upper Ratio - 61:39
Proportion Grade - Excellent
Brilliance Scope - VH, VH, VH
HCA - 1.2, EX, EX, EX, VG
It gets very high ratings on the HCA and Brilliance Scope, but I am wondering about the Star/Upper Ratio. Is the 61:39 Star/Upper Ratio anything to be concerned about? I am thinking it does not matter since this diamond gets very high marks on the B Scope and HCA.
I have read the forum postings on this ratio, but I am still al little confused about it. Most of the diamonds I have seen have this ratio closer to the 50:50 mark.
