glitterbug, Loriken214, somehowcollide, SeattleSweetheart, blingaddict, dani, honey22, geckodani, vespergirl, Tacori E-ring, julesbeth, Ellen, joflier, SanDiegoLady, kcoursolle, goobear78, Snooper, mela lu: Thank you guys sooooo much for the compliments!!! I was only able to put this together with all the advice from the board and all your inspiration pictures!
honey22, Snooper: I think I will wait a bit to make sure it''s really too big. I''d hate to have to part with my ring for a few days for resizing! I should probably call Leon and see what he says. I''ve heard that a lot of jeweler have a laser welder that can do it very quickly, seamlessly and while I wait. I''m just not sure if the thinness of the band will be an issue.
goobear78: I only talked to Leon once. I basically told him I wanted the classic solitaire, set low and done very delicately and that was it. He took it from there. If you don''t mind leaving all the little details up to him, it''s a very simple process - send him the diamond and wait for it to be ready (the wait was agonizing though - he took a couple weeks longer than quoted). I trusted him and let him do his thing - I didn''t even know what the width of the band was going to be! I think he gets a little upset when he feels micromanaged so I guess it depends on how involved you want to be. i wish you good luck!!!
